I need to share a few of the humorous parts of our trip. Imagine the really sweet southern voice of the adoption specialist/social worker who knows nothing about the midwest. *When we were looking for a place to eat that would be child-friendly without being totally fast food, it was more difficult than we thought to make a decision. Alicia misunderstood our dilemma and asked, "Do y'all not eat out?" *As Al, Jen and Alicia were driving back from the hospital one afternoon, they passed quite a few yards that had lots of bags of leaves by their curbs. Jen, refering to the fact that she lives in the country and doesn't have to do much with her yard, told Alicia that she was glad she didn't have to rake leaves at home. Alicia responded, "Y'all don't have trees there?"
