Riley fell out of a tree he was climbing in the backyard. He got the wind knocked out of him and had some scrapes but is otherwise ok. It slowed him down for a while but he was running down our sidewalk when we got home so I think he'll be fine :)

In other news, Betty and Gary picked up Anthony last night. He's going to spend two days with them and go to the fair. He's really excited!

For those of you who don't know, Betty & Gary were Anthony's foster parents for the 13 months that he was in foster care. They had him from age 9 months until he was almost 2 years old. We've kept in touch with them, originally to make the transition to our home easier for Anthony, but now because we love them like family. They came to visit quite a bit before Gary had his strokes, even though it's a two hour drive for them. Now Anthony thinks of them like grandparents. Last year was the first time since he moved in with us that we tried an overnight visit with them. They went to the county fair and had a great time. So this year, we're trying 2 nights and the now annual visit to the fair!
